How do I browse the journal finder by subject or discipline?

Answer

Here's how you can browse for publications by subject area:

1. Browse by Discipline

After you connect to the Journal Finder, look for the Browse by Discipline area to see the available disciplines. Click a subject to view available publications for that discipline.

2. Explore Results

The results screen will display any matching titles. There's a "Search within publication" form that will let you search for articles in that title. You can also expand the "Full Text Access" section of a title to see (a) which databases contain the journal and (b) the dates of availability. Click one of the databases (Academic Search Ultimate, etc.) to access more details. Journal Finder results

3. Browse Issues & Viewing Full Text

This step shows the results of clicking the "Academic Search Ultimate" database from the previous step. On the publication details page, look at the Full Text section to see the dates for which full text is available. Lastly, on the right side of the Publication Details screen, expand the years (2023, 2022, etc.) to see individual issues that can be clicked to access articles from that issue.Journal finder full text
