How do I export a citation from a Gale database to NoodleTools?

Once you have a source (article, eBook, etc.) on the screen in a Gale database, you can export citations directly to your NoodleTools project by following these steps:

  1. Make sure you are logged into your NoodleTools account
  2. Click the Cite icon near the top of the screen.

  3. In the Export menu, click the NoodleTools icon

  4. On the NoodleTools import screen, select the NoodleTools project that will hold the citation and then click Import. In this example, the citation will be stored in a project named "College success project".

  6. A green "success" banner will display when the import finishes. This window can be closed afterwards.

  7. Lastly, navigate back to your project in NoodleTools to see the citation (you may need to refresh the page). You can edit the citation or add an annotation by clicking it.
