How do I export a citation from OneSearch to NoodleTools?

In OneSearch, once you have a source (article, eBook, etc.) on the screen you can export citations directly to your NoodleTools project by following these steps:

  1. Make sure you are logged into your NoodleTools account
  2. In OneSearch, click the "Cite" icon of the source
    Click Cite icon
  3. On the menu that appears, choose Export citation and then click Export to NoodleTools option.
    Click Direct Export to NoodleTools and then Click Save
  4. You will then see the NoodleTools import window. Select the NoodleTools project that will hold the citation and then click Import. In this example, the citation will be saved to a NoodleTools project named "College success project".

  5. A green "success" banner will display when the import finishes. This window can be closed afterwards.

  6. Lastly, navigate back to your project in NoodleTools to see the citation (you may need to refresh the page). You can edit the citation or add an annotation by clicking it.
